CONVERSATION CORPS CHILE
Volunteer up to 15 hours each week in exchange for free room and board in Santiago or Concepcion! Use your free time to experience the culture by traveling and exploring.
This program focuses on cultural exchange and host families are not only excited to learn English but also love to share the characteristics of their country, culture and cuisine.
INTERNSHIP IN CHILE
At our office in Santiago and Concepción, interview Chilean college students who are coming to the U.S. on a J-1 Work and Travel visa. The Work and Travel program in the U.S. allows college students from other countries to travel to the U.S., work legally during their summer break, and then travel for a month before returning to their home country.
The students need to be interviewed about what it is like to live and work in the U.S. and also for their English language ability and skills.
If you’re physically fit, hungry to learn and be better, I urge you to travel – as far and as widely as possible. Sleep on floors if you have to. Find out how other people live, eat and cook. Learn from them wherever you go.
